Welcome!

This is a site of theoretical physics group at the University of Nevada, Reno, USA. The group is led by Dr. Andrei Derevianko. We invite a thoughtful visitor to read the "quantized musings" blog, our publications and peruse useful resources. Media accounts of our work can be found here.

The primary work of the group lies at the intersection of atomic physics with elementary particle and nuclear physics. This work is  motivated by an intriguing discovery potential of table-top atomic physics searches for new physics beyond the Standard Model of elementary particles. Current projects also span inventing new atomic and nuclear clock schemes, ultracold atom physics, and quantum information processing with Rydberg atoms.
