Andrei Derevianko is a Sara Louise Hartman professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he teaches quantum physics and related subjects. He has authored nearly 200 peer-reviewed publications in theoretical physics and is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a Simons Fellow in Theoretical Physics, and a Fulbright Scholar. His research spans a broad range of topics, including the development of novel classes of atomic clocks and precision tests of fundamental symmetries using atoms and molecules. His recent work focuses on the detection of ultralight dark matter using GPS atomic clocks and emerging nuclear-clock technologies.
